I purchased an older Graco Travel System when my daughter was born in fall of 2009. It came with the Safe Seat carseat. This was the recommended extra carseat base according to Graco. Installs just like the base that came with the Safe Seat. Both Grandmother’s have one so no matter where baby is going we can pick up the carrier and be gone in a flash!
I tried to purchase this base at local stores in my area and all were out of stock. When I looked at Amazon, I saw it was out of stock there also, but at least it gave an approximate delivery date. I went ahead and ordered and to my surprise my order arrived well ahead of schedule. The base is perfect and fits the carrier portion exactly as it should. Being the grandmother, I now don’t have to worry when I’m called on to transport my precious cargo!
A must have for a 32 SnugRide car seat if you have 2 cars. A copy of the one you get with the seat (for people who don’t know – SnugRide 32 comes with a base in the box), so you know what I’m talking about if you are looking for one. Same base, same instruction books attached – a twin brother.
We bought this base so I could take our newborn in the with me and still have the ease of quick in and out. We have a Graco travel system with a Snugride 32 seat and base. Though the bases are different models, they are the exactly the same, other than color for me. The 35/32 base was half the price of the 32 base, at the time.
This was a great buy – Graco makes a quality product at a good price point. I’m very happy I bought this and would recommend to anyone.
I love my snugride. I got a second adaptor for our other car. The car seat transfers easily from car to cart to stroller. Makes life a little easier when it becomes quite hectic.
We are most pleased with this unit which was easily installed in my vehicle.
It is very simple to place the infant car seat in the base and know that it is secure.
It is also extremely easy to extricate the car seat from the base when you arrive at your destination.
Most pleased with the unit.
I bought this for my Graco Stylus travel system.
Pros:
- Relatively easy to install
- Light weight
Cons:
- I never feel like the car seat is sitting SNUG on the seat. Even after I tighten the belt as much as I can, the car seat moves a bit (not a whole lot). This concerns me as I thought that the car seat is to sit very snug.
I haven’t got this out of the box yet, but I just wanted to write that the snugride 32 I bought on amazon already came with a base and I didn’t need another one. I didn’t see anywhere that indicated this fact on the webpage of the actual carseat. So that might help you if you just want one base. Yeah we have another car but it is a 2 door and constantly breaking so I don’t think we are going to use it at all to haul around baby. That’s all I can say about this for now.
I have a Graco 32 infant car seat and needed a second base for another car. Unfortunately, the regular Graco Snugride base doesn’t fit the Snugride 32, and the Snugride 32 base costs almost twice as much as the regular Graco Snugride base. Oh well, my sweet little boy is worth it. I could not find a separate base to buy in Wal-Mart, Target, Sears or ToysRUs and had to order online. Amazon had the best price, free shipping and got it to me in a day or two!
I had to return this product since we bought a travel system which had the base for the car seat already. The return was smooth with no problems at all.
The product arrived fast and just as described.
Great for an extra car seat base for my husband’s car. I have a Graco Car Seat. Comes with the extra tight belt that clips to some car’s hooks in the inner part of the seat. Love it!
