It is a very pretty crib. I would have given it a 5 except it came in slightly damaged and I don’t like that they don’t have something white to cover the screws. They stick out like a sore thumb. I was disappointed that it had 3 dents on it. One was on the back so it didn’t matter. One was on the bottom piece and it isn’t very noticable and one was on the side rail. Probably won’t be noticed by others but I do feel it was poorly packaged and certainly I would have been happier with it had it not had been damaged.
Help answer the question about Convertible Baby
Anyone know if a toddler/baby seat fits in a new vw beetle convertible?
I'm going on a trip with wife Convertible Baby and 3 year old. Need to rent a car and saw the VW beetle convertible available as a special. WIll a toddler seat fit in the back or should I just be more practical and get a mid/family sized car?

My wife and I learned about the Prop 65 warning on the product after it arrived in our home. Please be aware CA residents.
Passed by voters in 1986, Proposition 65 requires manufacturers to provide “clear and reasonable warnings” of chemicals in their products that are known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.
This crib and changing table emit formaldehyde — a chemical known to cause cancer.
In addition to being a carcinogen, formaldehyde has been shown to contribute to respiratory problems like asthma. The levels of formaldehyde gas emitted from the baby furniture, when combined with other potential sources of formaldehyde in the home, are high enough to cause respiratory irritation to children sleeping in the cribs.

I inquired at LaJobi and Graco. This is the reply I got. Only Amazon is in error in listing a Proposition 65 warning!
“Please see attached copy of the Dakota crb (eco-friendly). This crib does not have a proposition 65 warning label attached. If you have seen any of our cribs with this label attached while viewing produts on the internet, please note this issue is being addressed as it was posted in error. Thanks for inquiring about our products.”
This is a great crib. It came in minimal packaging with no styrofoam. It was easy to put together and looks great.
We are expecting in a few months, so this review addresses the crib’s quality and ease of assembly, not actual use yet. The crib arrived undamaged and was extremely simple to put together. It took less than an hour, and there were no problems with any of the parts. The wood actually looks even nicer than I had expected based on the customer pictures online. The color is not as dark as the manufacturer picture, but is still a very pretty espresso (not chocolate or black).
The best thing about this crib is the small “footprint.” We have a small nursery and were concerned about how big most cribs are. We want baby to be comfortable and safe, but we didn’t want an enormous crib that would dominate the room. We are very happy with the low profile of this crib. It fits perfectly, looks great, and seems of solid construction. Looking forward to using it soon!
The crib is very easy to assemble and very sturdy. I would suggest having another person help put it together, it’s not necessary but four hands are always better than two! Our baby has not arrived yet so I am reluctant to give it 5 stars until it has truly been tested for 6-8 months. So far we are very happy.
