The border is so cute! My husband had it up in our nursery in about an hour. It matches the bedding perfectly colorwise.

Help answer the question about Bauer Hudson
There's known and then there's KNOWN...?
Back during the Kennedy administration, the Washington press corps was well aware of his womanizing. Same with LBJ. George H W Bush had a girlfriend and everybody in town knew it. In Hollywood, people knew Rock Hudson was gay in the Bauer Hudson 50's. People in the gay scene in any city know which judges, politicians, and other Pillars of the Community are on 'the downlow'. In Las Vegas, locals can point out the 'secret' Janet flights that take workers to Area 51 at Nellis AFB. Restaurant staff tell their friends/family which places to avoid eating at. The list goes on and on. There are things that are well known in certain circles but completely unknown to the public at large. Your challenge: Talk! Spill what you know. Or do I have to send in Jack Bauer to 'convince' you? ;-)

The seat does what it needs to and for the price is appropriate. I don’t switch cars with it, and installing it once was a little more cumbersome than the twice as expensive Recaro back-to-front seat we have in the other car. The belts are thinner than the Recaro’s, which actually makes it easier to twist any wrongly aligned latches. The tightening strap is difficult to pull snugly, but not frustratingly so.

As others have mentioned, there isn’t much head support for naps while driving, so for longer trips where your child may be napping, have something to use for head support so the nap lasts longer than til the first major turn.

The low seat height and fold-able armrests are great for ingress/egress, but for whatever reason, when the seat is empty, they jiggle annoyingly when driving unless you wrap a harness strap around them.

So overall, its a decent seat that my son likes to ride in, but has some little quirks that have easy work-arounds that would probably cost way extra for an enhanced feature on another model booster seat.

I Purchased this in a little over a month ago and the seat is satisfactory.
Pros:
This car seat was easy to install. The connectors are easy to find and once the straps are straight easy to connect.

Cons:
The strap you pull to tighten the harness looks like it is already having a lot of wear and its only been a month. Although the connectors for the harness have enough room to work out twists in the harness they are also large enough to easily allow the straps to twist making it so you have to fix them almost every time you strap in your child which is annoying.

HIGHLY recommend buying from Amazon… my 2 & 1/2 year old LOVES it; feels like such a big girl! Plenty of room to grow & converts from 5pt harness to booster. Less expensive from Amazon w/ free shipping then from Babies R Us! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

This is a great seat. The ability to quickly change the configuration including straps and recline and make it work with any car/van you have really rocks. I have 3 different seats and this one is the easiest and best by far.

Bedspread detail is wonderful and anyone looking for an “outdoors” theme this is the spread for you. I know that Carters also sells a similar set at babies r us. This set though is beautiful and like I said the detail is tremendous

We bought this for our first baby boy’s nursery. I loved the colors and the cute baby animals. But it’s even better in person because there are so many textures in the fabrics. Very high quality. I love it!

I purchased this for my new grandson’s nursery. It is a beautiful set and looks great in his room. It is also a quality set and warm. Perfect!!

This baby bedding is great for both boys and girls. The animals are so cute and the rich colors really liven up a room. We are having a girl and wanted to give her room a nature inspired theme that was both cute & rustic. The only reason I didn’t give it full stars is because the bumper does not go all the way around the crib. Everything else fit perfectly.

This is the worst seat to get. The pillow in the back pushes baby’s head foward. My daughter looks so uncomfortable in it especailly when she is sleeping. I will be taking it back and getting a Graco!

I now have two of these car seats, one for my car and one for the wife’s car. Very easy to use, attach to the car and easy straps for the kids. I would recommend this to anyone.

Biggle May 20, 2010 at 12:38 pm

This is not a very well-designed seat. The angle of the back doesn’t seem comfortable for our kids, and certainly not for our infant. The pillow, as others have noted, is way too far forward. It pushes their heads forward – just a bizarre design. The straps or ok, but they do tend to get twisted, and the buckle is fairly hard to release, especially with one hand. The Britax Roundabout is not all that much more money than this, and it is so much better in design and safety. I would advise against this seat.

I bought one of these car seats because quite honestly it looked and measured to be the most compact, hence the “best” seeming fit for my rear-facing car seat needs. I’ve bought a bunch of other Eddie Bauer accessories and found the quality to be pretty good, so I went with my instinct and made the purchase for $119 at Target. After installing this in the back of my Mazda CX9 (by no means a small vehicle) the car seat would not stay in position and jostled out of alignment time and time again. No matter how hard I tried or how diligent I was with the latch system, the seat would not stay in position…very very dangerous for your baby. Also notable is that the seat is 100% plastic and very cheap feeling. There’s an “adjustable” stand that makes it convert from rear to forward facing, but it does a horrible job at keeping this unit in place. Lastly I should note that the child has zero protection in this seat…my little girl is only 9 months and 18 lbs, yet she seemed like a giant in the seat and you could see she was fully exposed. We decided to go with a different unit…evenflow has an awesome new one that rivals a britmax safety wise. Take a look at that one…or any other one, but do yourself a favor and don’t buy this…you’ll just end up returning it.

I was completely happy with this purchase. My daughter is comfortable in this stroller and seems to think it is a pretty smooth ride. I love the fact that it is light weight and easy to pop up with one hand. The basket beneath the seat is large enough for me to get my bag in and out of while she stays in her seat. Well worth the money, I would definitely purchase it again.

Bench May 22, 2010 at 12:59 am

Over all, its a fairly good stroller. it does what its supposed to.

the only flack I give for it is the seat doesn’t recline as far back as I had wanted..(lowest stays about 40-45 degree angle. :S /i had hoped for a flat laying bed as lowest position. but its alright, he still sleeps fine in it.. :) )
& the tiny hub caps easily vibrate loose..which isnt important unless you really care how it looks in the wheels..(they are NOT a safety feature,,so its OK if they fall out.)

Also, I wish this were one of those strollers where you can shift the handle to front and back. but I couldnt recall what those types were called, so just so you know, this is NOT that type. :P

anyway..
Looks lovely, rides easily, and there’s a sweeeeet little window flap on the top of the canvas sun cover..where you can open it and see into the stroller where baby sits.. to watch him/her as you walk. I just thought that little detail was darling. :D

over all..
purdy good stroller for the price.

go head n get it. :)

I was looking for a good stroller at a good price. I found it in this product. My one and only complaint is that it does not go up far enough when my Grandson sits in it. The positions are pretty restricted and it is done the back of the stroller using a strap. Don’t really know how this will wear.
But other than that it opens and folds easily. Walking with it is great, it’s pretty long, so taking it into a crowded store could be another possible restriction.
